New Patient
On your first visit to our office you will be asked to fill out our required forms which will help us gain some information about you and your condition. Dr. Stover will then talk with you and ask you some specific questions regarding your condition to determine if chiropractic care may be of benefit to you. If we can help you, the doctor will let you know. If we cannot help you, you will be referred to another doctor in the area that may be more suited to your specific problem. Nothing will be done in our office without your consent.
After a thorough consultation with Dr. Stover, you will have a complete chiropractic examination. This will include testing your reflexes, your ability to turn and bend as well as other standard orthopedic, neurologic, postural, and physical examinations. The doctor will gain valuable information regarding your condition so that he can get a better understanding of how chiropractic can help you.
The need for X-rays is considered on a case by case basis. Dr Stover will go through the results of your consultation and examination and any x-rays that need to be taken are shot in our office on your initial visit using a digital x-ray machine. It is often necessary to rule out certain potential problems and discover the exact structural changes that may be causing your specific problem or future problems. Seeing is knowing, not seeing is guessing, and we won't guess when it comes to your health.
After your first visit to our office, Dr. Stover will review all of the information and examinations that were performed and he will evaluate any x-rays that were shot. Dr. Stover will give you a report of his findings on your second visit and tell you his recommendations for treatment.
After receiving your report of findings, you will receive your first adjustment. Dr. Stover’s technique of adjusting the spine and other joints is gentle enough for kids (they love us), yet able to restore function and movement for the athlete and senior. Most of our patients begin to see results from the very first adjustment.
Our office participates in most insurance programs. We also accept auto accident cases.
